In April 2024, our Artistic Director was chosen by BOB VCSE Health Alliance to take part in mental health action planning process to advance partnership working in mental health. The process aimed to strengthen mutual understanding and encourage more collaboration between the NHS and the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector across the South East region.
As part of the meetings, the policy and strategic context for NHS mental health services and how they are governed and funded within BOB ICS was shared. Relationships between the NHS and VCSE sector are starting to grow though knowledge exchange and meaningful dialogue. Each sector is starting to understand the issues that are affecting one another, and what that means for partnership working.
