A group of dancers explore their cultural identities in relation to each other and the space. Does the space reveal heritages belonging to other cultural identities? Are the dancers able to connect and create a sense of belonging in the space? Over time, could the dancers make this space their home?

Home is a performance that enables dance artists to establish their individual and collective cultural identities within found spaces in order to try and make that space their home. Dance artists are encouraged to acknowledge and find ways to overcome cultural difference during the piece in order to create feelings of togetherness, comfort and a sense of belonging. As well as professional performances of Home, Reside Dance C.I.C. also open out the creative process to local community groups, venues and public spaces and invite communities and audiences to take part in a rework of the piece.
