From Me to You

From Me to You was a specially commissioned piece by Reading BID, Reading UK C.I.C. and Reading Borough Council for Reading Living Advent Calendar as part of the Magical Reading programme. On 14th December 2018, Reside Dance C.I.C. performed From Me To You outside Boots, Broad Street, celebrating gift-giving at Christmas from the heartfelt to the humourous. Performers depicted familiar scenes of gift-giving to friends and family, wrapping presents live through dance. Lucky audience members were given presents in a choreography that warmed the heart and ignited the human spirit. The performance was well received and despite the cold weather, the audience stayed for the duration of the piece and showered the Dance Artists with loud cheers! Enquires were made on Twitter to see if the piece was going to be performed again.
