Since September 2016, Reside Dance C.I.C. has successfully delivered 34 one-off performances, workshops, and longer-term projects in Reading, receiving funding and support from Arts Council England, The National Lottery, The Rising Sun Arts Centre, University of Reading, HM Government, Jelly, Reading Borough Council, Reading UK CIC, and Sport England. Over the past 7 years, the company have reached approximately 505,000 participants and audience members in Reading and beyond. 500,000 of those are because of our performance of Vote 100 Public Dance and Debate which was filmed live on BBC South Today.
Our audiences at events and online are wide and are representative of Reading’s culturally diverse population which include those who have no – little experience of dance to seasoned Dance Professionals. Our online reach through our website, social media, YouTube and online articles move beyond Reading and UK-wide to include an international audience, spanning across ages, genders, ethnicities and socio-economic statuses.
